The Polar Star Couloir is a nearly perfect couloir set in one of the most remote and inhospitable places on the planet; Baffin Island, Canada. Named as one of “The Fifty Classic Ski Descents of North America” by the book of the same name, checking it off the list as Cody Townsend attempts to ski all of the classics in his documentary ski project called “The FIFTY”.

"Make a ski movie and all you gotta worry about is skiing," they said. But damn it if the head games didn't hit hard this winter as we tackled the creation of our second film. Redemption. In the end, that was the objective for Mountain State 2.0. That one line had gotten the best of us and there was no way we weren't going back to give it another go. LES 14x2000 DES BAUGES (THE 14 BAUGES PEAKS)

Here are 14 Himalayan peaks over 8000 metres in altitude. As luck would have it, there are 14 peaks over 2000m in the Massif des Bauges. This is the story of two anti-Heroes, not rich enough to climb 8000m mountains and too lazy to climb 4000m mountains, who have found a goal within their grasp.
