PRODUCT RECALL - SKI TOURING BINDINGS

mtn-bindings
MTN BINDINGS
Salomon's heritage as a ski binding leader dates back to the late 1950s, when the company designed a replacement for the leather straps that previously held feet to alpine skis. Since then—through the design of countless bindings that have revolutionized the ski industry in various ways—the safety of skiers has been woven into the fabric of our winter sports DNA. That is why, today, we have decided to proceed with a recall of one of our bindings. Following reports from several retailers and our own technical investigation, we have identified an issue in the toe piece of one production batch of the Salomon MTN touring bindings.

Following the prompts below will help determine if the MTN binding you own is included in the recall, and it should make the replacement of any affected toe pieces as efficient as possible.

This recall applies to the following products:

Only products manufactured between May 1st 2022 and March 31st 2023 are concerned.

If you purchased your bindings prior to May 1st, 2022, you are not affected by this recall.

Here is the procedure to follow depending on your situation:

1/ New bindings, still in the box: identification and return
