Idéal pour combiner ski rando et ski alpin
Simplicité d’utilisation et belle solidité de l’ensemble. Mais quelques points à savoir d’après mon expérience assez récente en ski rando (2.5 ans). Sur les dévers assez dur en neige à tendance à déchausser de l’avant (le devant de la chaussure peut se des enclencher des ergots) et par effet collatéral, risque de perdre le ski sur la pente car pas retenu par le stop-ski qui lui est condamné par la position "marche" (rando). Prévoir donc des lanières… comme à l’époque où les stop ski n’existaient pas. Si si j’ai vécu les fixations à câble 😁.
Ceci dit, pour les puristes du ski rando, la fixation a quelques limites. La talonnette de calage vers le haut (position marche) sur la partie arrière de la fixation, a tendance à se remettre en position basse. À vérifier pendant les montées … mais ça on s’en rend compte ( l’effort musculaire n’est pas le même après quelques dizaines de mètres de montée).
Cela dit, en position ski descente, c’est franchement sécurisant et ,surpris, on peut vraiment attaquer en virage, sur toutes les neiges y compris neige dure (avec bon skis et bien affûtés). Slalom et prise de carres, virages curvés , etc., tout est parfaitement maintenu et respire solidité et efficience.
Perso j’ai opté pour des ski ´Movement’ (qui viennent de nos voisins suisses) et l’ensemble procure une cohérence pertinente pour qui veut se faire plaisir dans les deux sens ( j’ai 50 ans de pratique de ski toutes neiges je cherchais une fixation polyvalente mais surtout efficace, rassurante en descente, j’ai donc privilégier ce produit … je suis plus tout jeune, une cheville moins mobile que l’autre, avec de bonnes chaussures là aussi polyvalentes, rando/alpin, l’ensemble est juste nickel pour que je puisse apprécier cette expérience. Je vais les changer bientôt skis et fixations… et je prendrais les mêmes combinaisons vraisemblablement.

So far so good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these about a month ago, I am completely new to AT and based in the northeast so these made perfect sense to me splitting my time between resort skiing and touring. I have used my setup a few times now and I’m a fan of the bindings. I had to watch a few videos to help understand shifting between the ski and walk mode but now it’s become very easy and intuitive.
