Biography
Born and raised in Quebec, Canada, Marianne grew up competing in triathlons before transitioning to running. She quickly established herself as one of the best trail runners in the world when she finished 3rd place at the Western States 100, followed by 2nd place at UTMB in 2022. Marianne is known for her determination and ability to overcome challenges. In the final 40 kilometres of UTMB, Marianne dealt with a torn psoas, but with great perseverance, still she secured her spot on the podium and kept a smile on her face. Marianne adopts a positive mindset in all aspects of her life, which she believes allows her to overcome challenges. In March 2023, Marianne joined our Speed Project team, “We Are All Protagonists,” a team of women from all backgrounds and sporting or non-sporting experiences who relayed the 340 miles from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.
