Salomon Repair: Extending the Adventure, Restoring the Story
Your Salomon gear tells a story, and it deserves a second chance. Don't throw away your memories, repair them.
Salomon is proud to launch its online repair service, designed to extend the unique story behind your gear. This initiative is part of Salomon's sustainability strategy, Change Our Future 2030, and supports the development of circularity across our products. You can now choose to extend the life of your equipment without compromising its reliability.

Preserving the memory of every adventure
Beyond the environmental side, Salomon's repair service speaks to the strong emotional bond users have with their gear. A trail running pack used over several seasons isn't just an accessory, it's a witness to a first ultra-trail, an epic mountain crossing, or simply a memorable outing. Likewise, a technical jacket that's weathered extreme conditions becomes a trusted partner you don't want to replace over a single tear.
Repair makes it possible to:
- Extend the use of a product that's perfectly broken in and tailored to how you use it.
- Add value to the gear an athlete is attached to, avoiding automatic replacement with something new.
- Make equipment care more accessible, moving from one-off services at events to a solution designed to support everyone, anywhere, anytime.
Choosing to repair means choosing to extend your relationship with gear that's already proven itself in the field, while limiting the environmental footprint of premature replacement.
Practical guide: How to use Salomon's repair service
Our repair service rollout began in France in April 2026 and is now available in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain. It will gradually expand to cover all of Europe by the end of 2026. The goal is clear: make repair accessible to as many people as possible, with the highest level of service quality.
How does it work?
- Describe what you need: Start by filling out the online form. Tell our repair partner what needs fixing, provide your product details, and pay the estimated repair cost. If the repair turns out to be more complex than expected, our repair partner will contact you for approval before making any changes.
- Send in your product: Once your request is confirmed, make sure your Salomon item is clean and free of any personal belongings. Pack it carefully and ship it following the provided instructions. Salomon covers all shipping costs.
- Quality repair work: Your product will first be inspected by our experts, who will then carry out the necessary repairs with precision and care.
- Ready for new adventures: As soon as your product is ready, you'll receive an email. Your gear will be shipped back to you, ready to head back out into the world.
What does a repair cost?
Pricing is transparent and based on the complexity of the work involved, reflecting the time and technical expertise required (special stitching, GORE-TEX materials, etc.). As a guide, repairs start at around €20 for simple fixes and can run up to €80 for more complex work, such as replacing a waterproof zipper.
