The tailors prioritize matching Salomon quality fabrics to preserve performance and durability, while also aiming for the best possible visual result. The closest available color tone is selected for the repair; when no suitable match meets quality standards, a visually compatible shade is chosen to ensure the best mix and match possible. Visible repairs may be present, a mark of authenticity and a reflection of your product’s long-lasting nature.

We handle the shipping, you cover the repair. From dispatch to return, transport costs are fully covered by Salomon. We’re proud to support your repair journey.
What You Need to Know
We currently offer repairs for clothing and bags only. All Salomon apparel and bags are eligible, regardless of where or when they were purchased.
Our repair partner can handle most common repairs, but some items may be considered unrepairable, for example:
- Multiple severe damages across the same garment (e.g. widespread staining combined with rips or holes)
- Burn damage over a large area
- Structural damage requiring replacement of major sections (such as a full hood or lining)
If a repair isn’t feasible, our repair partner will contact you to know if you want to:
- Have the item returned to you
- Have it responsibly recycled
Please ensure your item is clean, dry, and empty of personal belongings.
If an item arrives too dirty to handle, our repair partner will contact you with the following options:
- Clean it (for an additional charge)
- Return it to you (return shipping costs will apply)
During the registration process, you’ll be guided to select the repair type and can add notes describing what needs to be fixed.
When sending your item:
- Clearly mark repair areas using paper tape or a safety pin (do not use pins on waterproof fabrics)
- Avoid duct tape or heavy adhesives, as these can leave residue and cause further damage
- Include a printed copy of your repair confirmation email inside the parcel
This helps the tailors assess and repair your item accurately and efficiently.
Finally, make sure to securely pack your item. If sending multiple items, include them in one shipment. Shipping instructions will be provided after your request, in a separate e-mail from the confirmation email.
You pay an initial estimated price when submitting your request. If the repair requires more work than expected, our repair partner will contact you for approval before adjusting the price.
If you choose not to continue after receiving a revised quote, the repair cost will be refunded, but the return shipping fee will apply.
Our repair partner aims for 7 working days for the repair itself (excluding shipping). This is a guideline, not a guarantee.
Turnaround times may vary due to:
- Complex repairs
- High seasonal volumes
- Material availability
- Technical or operational issues
All repairs come with a 12-month warranty. If the repair fails within that time due to workmanship, the tailors will repair it again free of charge.

If you’re unhappy with the repair, please contact United Repair Centre's consumer service. If the issue is confirmed to be related to workmanship, we’ll redo the repair at no additional cost.
We work with trusted third-party delivery partners to transport your item to and from the workshops.
All shipments are insured. If your item is lost in transit or damaged during shipping, please contact United Repair Centre’s consumer service within 14 days of collection.
