And just like in 1979 when the SX90 rear-entry ski boot took off and went mainstream, in 2023, the S/Pro SUPRA BOA® aims to challenge traditional boot design and introduce skiers to a totally new standard of perfect fit.
DEVELOPING THE EXOWRAP ECOSYSTEM
Our engineers realized that simply replacing buckles was not a complete solution. Instead, foothold had to be redefined. So, a new BOA® compatible EXOWRAP ecosystem was born. Composed of three key elements (scroll photos for details), the EXOWRAP ecosystem has a shell and liner that are designed to work in harmony with BOA® Fit System's unique ability to wrap your feet with precision and deliver maximum foothold and performance.
BOA® Fit System
Salomon worked with BOA® to completely redesign the shell of the Salomon S/PRO Supra in order to integrate an alpine-specific BOA® Fit System and create a 4-point tightening system that replaces the need for forefoot buckles. This technology offers a more comprehensive wrap of the forefoot, minimizing downward pressure and reducing the typical fit and performance issues that arise from four buckle boots.
