Highly recommend
Very well built boot. Feels like a sneaker but has support like a boot. Been using for a month now and they’re holding up extremely well.

Salomon quest has gortex but too stiff boot
I bought these boots a month ago hoping that they would provide a similar experience that I had with the discontinued Salomon quest 4 (goretex) size 14. 4D boots are 100% lace through either fabric or metal eyes which make adjusting difficult. The old design quest 4 actually has on the tread “4D” don’t be fooled. The new tread is labeled “4D” but it is much stiffer.

Great winter boot
Bought these yeas ago at REI. Primarily for snowshoeing and other winter adventures. Feet always stayed warm and dry. Boots still holding up great. Only complaint is shoelaces don’t stay tight unless I double knot.

I want to love these but I just can’t
First impressions were amazing. I love the style and the height of the boot, literally everything. Then I put them on… the width and length were good however there is hardly any padding on the ankles or sides of the foot. I bought insoles thinking they would help make the boot more comfortable however they didn’t. Walking in them for 12+ hours was painful to say the least. I’ve worn them for almost a month now, 5 days a week for 12+ hours a day and they still aren’t cutting it. My ankles hurt every day and so do the bottom of my feet. Like I said I wanted to love these, I really did.
