Nastasia Noens
MJ

Biography
While French slalom specialist Nastasia Noens might have been born in the beautiful coastal town of Nice, France, and swam competitively through her early years, it’s the mountains that have marked her life the most. She left home at a young age to go to boarding school an hour away and focus on the sport. Since her World Cup debut in November 2006, it was clear she would quickly become one of the top contenders in slalom. Her first podium in the discipline arrived in January 2011, and two more followed in 2014 and 2016. Unfortunately, just as she was building more confidence to consistently chase podium finishes, she suffered a right knee injury and has been fighting her way back to the top of the slalom rankings ever since. A big satisfaction was winning a gold medal at the World Championships in St. Moritz, Switzerland in 2017. She competed as a member of the winning French team in the Team Event. Nastasja is a big believer in dreaming big and giving everything you do your best shot, as that's the only way one can obtain real results.
