SALOMON CUSTOMER REVIEWS
- General information
SALOMON has implemented a system for collecting and publishing customer reviews on its website www.salomon.com, aiming to:
- assist other users in choosing products,
- improve the quality of products.
Customer reviews are displayed in chronological order by default, and users have the option to choose alternative filtering criteria through a dropdown menu.
Customers who have made a purchase on the salomon.com website automatically receive an email notification, inviting them to share their feedback on the ordered product(s). These reviews undergo verification by our partner, Bazaar Voice, to ensure authenticity.
Customers who have made in-store purchases can also leave spontaneous reviews on www.salomon.com. As these reviews cannot be verified, they are distinguished from verified reviews with the label "unverified spontaneous review."
SALOMON occasionally collaborates with product testers who receive free products to test and provide their feedback. These reviews explicitly mention "product test."
Reviews labeled "commercial collaboration" involve input from SALOMON athletes and/or brand ambassadors.
Before submitting a review, each customer is invited to read and accept the general conditions applicable to review submissions.
Customer reviews remain accessible as long as the relevant product is available on the site. However, SALOMON reserves the right to remove reviews older than two (2) years.
Reviews posted on the e-commerce sites of SALOMON's partner retailers may also appear on www.salomon.com. These reviews are subject to control BY SALOMON's partners and are submitted according to their respective terms of use.
- Rules for Customer Review Content
Any customer who agrees to submit a review commits to not sending any content that:
- they know to be false, inaccurate, or deceptive.
- violates any copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary rights, rights of publicity, or confidentiality of any third party.
- violates any law or regulation, or any decree or regulation (including, but not limited to, those governing consumer protection, unfair competition, discrimination, or false advertising).
- is or can reasonably be considered defamatory, incites hatred, is partial or insulting based on race or religion, illegally threatens, or constitutes unlawful harassment of any individual, partnership, or business.
- they have been paid for by a third party or received compensation from a third party.
- contains information referring to other websites, addresses, email addresses, contact details, or phone numbers.
- contains viruses, worms, or other potentially harmful computer programs or files.
Reviews are generally published within two to four business days. However, SALOMON and/or its partner, Bazaar Voice, reserve the right to delete or refuse to publish a contribution as permitted by law if the contribution does not comply with the rules listed above.
In cases where a customer review is not published, the customer will be notified via email and will have the opportunity to submit a new review in accordance with these rules.
Once a customer review is published, the customer will not have the ability to modify it.
Customer reviews are published under the sole responsibility of their authors.
It is clarified that SALOMON has a right to reply to published customer reviews and may also contact the customer after receiving a review as part of its customer service policy.
- Rights Waiver
By submitting a customer review, the customer expressly authorizes SALOMON and its affiliates to use, exploit, reproduce, and translate the elements contained in the customer review (including any photographs) on all media, in all formats, without limitation. This authorization is granted free of charge, worldwide, and for the entire duration of copyright protection.
- Reporting Abuse
Users can report any customer review at any time that violates their rights, the rights of third parties, and/or contravenes these conditions, using the "Report" link under the relevant customer review. In this case, the reported review will undergo a new check by SALOMON's customer review management provider.
- Personal Data Protection
Personal data collected in the context of managing customer reviews is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on www.salomon.com.
