Ski Boots & Bindings: Product Safety & Compliance
At Salomon, safety, quality, and product compliance are core commitments. We design and develop our equipment in accordance with the most demanding standards to ensure reliable, high-performing, and safe products, whatever terrain you explore.
For any questions or comments regarding our products, their technical documentation, or any information related to the European Union General Product Safety Regulation of May 10, 2023 (EU Regulation 2023/988 – GPSR), please contact our customer support.
EU declarations of conformity for the relevant product categories are available and accessible here, in full transparency.
Ski Boot & Binding Compatibility Letter
For safe setup, check the compatibility letter on both the ski boot and the binding (boot sole and binding toe piece).
3 Compatibility Letters:
- C – Child
- CA – Child & Adult
- A – Adult
The letter on the boot must match the letter on the binding.
If they do not match — or if no letter is visible — consult a qualified professional. Applies only to Alpine and GripWalk ski boots.
