Seek. Find. Ski.
Everything sounds different when touring - Steady breathing, skins gliding, wind hitting the ridge, ripping skins at the top, the snow on your face as you drop in and the echo of your voice letting everyone, or no one, know how much fun skiing is.
QST ECHO 106
Designed in collaboration with Cody Townsend and put to the test on The Fifty, the QST Echo 106 gives you everything you need in a backcountry ski and nothing that you don't. Versatile and trusted shape and waist width – check. All-new lightweight core – done. Echo specific variations of cork damplifier, basalt reinforcement for a confidence inspiring ride – you betcha!

ULTRALIGHT CORE & CONSTRUCTION
A lightweight karuba/poplar core pairs with basalt fibers and cork damplifier in the tip and tail serving up a ski that doesn't weigh you down on the up yet still delivers the iconic QST stability and performance on down.
DEVELOPED WITH CODY TOWNSEND
"These days, I like to do most of my skiing in the backcountry. And, you are probably asking yourself all last year what ski I was skiing under on for the Fifty project. It was the QST ECHO 106. It was meant to be a lightweight touring ski that retains the energy, the playfulness, confidence of the QST while adding some lighter weight materials for the ease of up." Cody Townsend

MADE WITH SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS
Is this a perfect eco-friendly ski? No. But we did approach the construction of the QST Echo with sustainability as a main theme. With that in mind, we were able to integrate 100% recycled ABS in the double sidewall and create a topsheet that is made of 30% recycled materials.
