Salomon Publishes its 2025 Impact Report
On World Environment Day, Salomon publishes the fourth edition of its Impact Report. In 2025, we continued to advance our sustainability commitments, while recognizing the scale of the challenges ahead. This report reflects both the progress we’ve made and the areas where further transformation is needed to more deeply embed sustainability into our business
From commitment to transformation
Sustainability is no longer a side initiative — it is a business imperative. At Salomon, by 2030, performance, sustainability, and resilience must work as one. This ambition is reshaping every part of our organization — from product design and sourcing, to partnerships, culture, and decision-making. It also requires collective action. Because transforming our industry cannot be done alone.
“Sustainability must move from the margins of our business to the core of how we operate. This means aligning our business ambitions with the planet’s limits and with the expectations of the communities we serve.”

Guillaume Meyzenq
Chief Executive Officer
2025: a year of acceleration
In this context, 2025 marked a step-change. We strengthened our governance, improved how we measure and manage impact, and further embedded sustainability into our day-to-day operations. At the same time, we delivered tangible progress:
- Product: Up to 40% of softgoods range eco-designed (SS26/FW26 development), and 100% of strategic product categories assessed through Life Cycle Assessments
- Supply Chain: 86% of Tier 1 suppliers achieved A or B rating on our social compliance standards
- People: Over 90% of employees trained on sustainability challenges
- Communities: More than €560k dedicated to supporting communities and mountain professionals through the Salomon Foundation
These results reflect meaningful progress — while also highlighting the scale of the transformation ahead.
“The Salomon 2025 impact report reflects the collective commitment of our teams across Salomon. It captures the progress we’ve made this year and the challenges we continue to face, with a clear focus on improving how we measure, reduce, and manage our impact.”

Sustainability PMO, Reporting & Strategy Support Lead
Innovating for impact
Responsible innovation remains one of our strongest levers to reduce impact. In 2025, we continued to scale eco-design across our products, supported by lifecycle assessments, new design tools, and closer collaboration with our partners. At the same time, we expanded our circular initiatives — from repair services to recycling pilots — to extend product life and reduce waste. Our approach is clear: build high-performance products with lower environmental impact.
People and communities at the core
Transformation only happens when people are engaged. Internally, we are working to empower our teams, build a strong sustainability culture, and ensure that every employee can contribute to this transition. Externally, we continue to support more inclusive and accessible mountain sports through our Salomon Foundation, our athletes, and our partnerships.
In 2025, this included continued development of innovative solutions and increased support for organizations promoting diversity, education, and access to outdoor sports.
From the Adaptive project to community engagement via our Foundation, our ambition is to create a positive impact beyond our products.
“At Salomon, we believe that impact is built at every level, and that everyone can contribute to change in their own way. Our role is to create the conditions that enable each individual to become an agent of positive impact for our future”

Magali Clément
Chief People & Culture Officer
Moving forward together
We are aiming for impact, not perfection. We are committed to progress. Looking ahead, our priority is to scale what works: accelerating circular solutions, strengthening collaboration across our value chain, and deepening the integration of sustainability into our business strategy. Shaping the future of sport is a collective journey.
“We are on the path to transformation. Change takes time, but we are committed to shaping a new future for our business, our industry, and the communities we are part of. This is a journey to reinvent how we do things, one we would like you to join”

Marie-Laure Piednoir
Global Sustainability & Impact Director
