Because life is too short to be sliding around on worn out skins. Anybody who has ever been out on a beautiful day in the alpine with a skin that won’t grip because it’s worn out will tell you that a new pair of skins enable you to further, faster and with more confidence. When terrain gets step and icy and even the best skins won’t hold, a pair of ski crampons are worth their weight in gold. The same can also be said about our replacement Gripwalk pads whether you’re balancing your way across a rocky spine or trying to get across an icy parking lot with a little bit of dignity.
