Biographie
Francesco De Fabiani known as << Defa >> is one of the most talented Italian Cross-Country skiers of his generation. Born in 1993, he grew up in Gressoney-Saint-Jean, inspired by the peaks of Mount Rose. Since his childhood, his favorite discipline has always been Classic Technique, but over the years he came up showing us excellent performances both in Skating and Skiathlon. Up to now, he has been on the World Cup podium six times, taking home two golds, two silvers and two bronzes. At the Seefeld’s World Championships in 2019, he won an extraordinary bronze medal in the team sprint. Beijing 2022 will represent his third Olympic appointment, looking for the medal that represents the dream of every athlete’s life. Calm and reserved, during his free time you can find him walking on some glaciers, taking amazing astrophotography, or while crossing America with a colorful Van with his sister Susanna!
