The lively S/Lab Carbon Classic ski is designed for athletes who like to push their boundaries in all snow conditions. It features an all-new construction. Salomon engineers have dissociated the grip and glide functions of the ski into two mechanisms in order to better amplify each of them.
SMOOTH KICK ON FRONT PART
In the propulsion phase, when the skier’s foot pressure is on the forefoot, the ski’s low-profile camber enables direct connection to the snow for subtle snow feel and smooth kick.
INSTANT ACCELERATION ON BACK PART
In the glide phase, when the skier’s foot pressure is on the heel, the ski’s Thin Ply carbon layer positioned strategically at the back of the ski provides instant acceleration on every stride. Salomon’s specific Thin Ply Carbon weaving is thinner, stronger and lighter than a conventional carbon fabric.

SHELL
A carbon chassis delivers a new level of precision and energy transmission from your foot to the ski for maximum speed. The lacing system is directly fixed on the external envelope of the boot, so that when pulling the lacing system, the boot is perfectly wrapping your foot, like a second skin.
LINER
The pre-shaped, 3D liner becomes fully customizable when heated so it molds around the foot for a perfect fit, superior hold and comfort, while the full carbon shell construction keeps the weight down for maximum performance.
