Fabien Maierhofer’s most memorable ski story isn’t a singular story, but the collection of experiences he has had as an athlete on the Salomon team of riders. Since he was 17 years old, Fab has met and skied with an impressive list of freestylers and freeriders. In that time, he grew both as a skier and as a person. Pro riders like JP Auclair and Tony Lamiche have changed his way of seeing the mountains. Mountain Guide Cédric Grand helped him learn how to "make fun of everything." Sport is a way of life, says Fabien, reflecting on his career as a pro skier, and he reckons he’s not only a better skier for having joined the Salomon team and met these people, but also a better person.
