Rated 2 out of 5 by from Love this board, EXCEPT... I really enjoyed riding this board, but unfortunately, on only my third day on it, I banged it on a rock which caused the core to splinter under my heel. The impact was not extreme by any means, so I am quite disappointed with the Dancehaul's durability, to say the least. I contacted the shop I bought it from and they explained that Salomon would not warranty the board, so I am just out of luck. I generally like Salomon Snowboards a lot, but unfortunately due to this experience, I will be looking elsewhere for my boards from now on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect All-Rounder, All-Time Graphics I fell in love with the topsheet and shape the first time I saw it, and my love has grown stronger for the board the more I ride it. I hate to call this board perfect, but that's how I feel about it. I'm 5' 8" 170lbs riding the 152 (I sized up because I like a wider width and I like to ride my boards aggressively), setup on the recommended inserts (21.5in). I've ridden it everywhere from East Coast ice, groomers, slush, park, tight trees, to West coast trees, 14in powder day, groomers, bowls, chutes, and 15ft cliff drops. This board somehow excels at everything and is extremely fun while doing so. Not once have I wished I was on a different board, and I've ridden a lot of the other 'short-fat' boards out there. It's flexy enough to be maneuverable and fun/pressable (you can ride park on it), yet stiff enough to ride bigger mountains, charge through chop, and tackle some big drops. The sidecut is perfect for most riding speeds, and I find it very engaging, consistent, and addicting to carve on. The profile is great, you get the float/forgiveness of rocker with the responsiveness and pop of camber. The tail is a bit stiffer than the nose so it doesn't wash out on you no matter how hard you slash it, and you can rely on it for backseat landings. Still no chatter on groomers with the nose though, and it's stable at speed. The taper may take some getting used to for switch riding, but it's completely do-able, just doesn't carve as well switch, which is to be expected. All short boards are great in the trees, and I find the edge-to-edge on this to be quicker than other boards of this width, which is very nice. In powder, it floats great and is still maneuverable. Base holds wax well and is very fast, and topsheet is holding up to lift line abuse very well. I think I've covered everything, I was looking for a very specific board; something fun enough to want to carve all day on and play around on at East Coast Resorts, but still have enough muscle to handle big mountains, powder, drops, and chop. The Dancehaul checks all those boxes and excels at all of them way better than you expect a board to be able to, not to mention at such a good price compared to a lot of the other boards. Find one, buy it, and have fun! Best board purchase I've ever made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Party board! Only have 5 days or so thus far, but a big fan of this new board. Feels great to have the Radial sidecut back & makes the board carve. Flex falls right into that fun spot, playful but can still motor through crud.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Des Review I enjoy this board for the shape and side cut. The turning response was very fun and exciting to me. I also enjoyed that I experienced minimal nose chatter with this board when going fast in undesirable terrain. I found it to work best when riding it for racing, summer slush, mini pipes, and light pow days.
