Known for its legacy of creating authentic outdoor products and its knowledge of the mountain environments they are designed for, the SALOMON Fall Winter 20 footwear range brings technical shoe design inspired by the same things that influence an urban audience: art, music and fashion.
The range is divided into three collections: Advanced, Sneakers and Intersection.
Salomon Advanced provides a platform to empower a relationship with sport and the natural world. For FW20, the label presents two new colorways of the iconic XT-4 ADVANCED that feature graphics inspired by ultra runner’s testimonies of experiencing an altered state of mind when practicing their sport. Its functionality remains the same, providing stability and ultimate grip on various types of terrain thanks to its ACS (Agile Chassis System) and Contagrip outsole. Alongside this classic shape, the first of two in-season launches will feature upgraded versions of the RX SNOW MOC, the X-ALPINE MID, the XA PRO FUSION and the well known XT-6, a model that connects the Advanced and Salomon Sneakers range.
Created to deliver technical design fit for city life, the core Sneakers range includes the XT-6, XT-WINGS 2 and SPEEDCROSS 3 in both updated colorways and all black and white versions which have become urban style classics. The SPEEDCROSS 3 embodies Salomon’s disruptive and innovative mindset having previously featured in collaborative projects with the likes of Boris Bidjan Saberi and Palace Skateboards. Salomon’s Sneakers range also carries several classic hiking models the popular XT-QUEST and XA-COMP, revamped and re-issued in the range.
Salomon will continue to innovate with Intersection partners throughout the season, with several collaborations throughout 2020, continuing the successful releases from the likes of andwander, Fumito Ganryu.
The first Advanced and Sneakers collection drop of FW20 will be available online, at select retail partners and in selected Salomon stores from July, with a second instalment later this year.
