Salomon Running and Higher Ground are pleased to announce the feature film Transamericana will premiere at the Higher Ground Drive-In Experience at the Champlain Valley Expo on Thursday, October 1st, 2020. Tickets go on sale Thursday, September 17 at 10:00am ET.
In 2017, Rickey Gates ran from South Carolina to San Francisco - a journey of 3700 miles over the course of five months. The run was about getting to know both himself and his country to a much better degree - especially during these times of divisive politics and polarized societies within our own borders
The result of this run was a book, “Cross Country” published in April of this year by Chronicle Books and a 75 minute feature film Transamericana.
