Earlier this year Salomon announced the inaugural Salomon WMN Trail ½ Marathon, scheduled to take place on April 10th at Lake Sonoma. This all-women race aimed to celebrate and support female participation in trail running by creating a fun and inclusive environment including workshops, childcare, prize money and more.

While the race was canceled for 2020, Salomon wants to give all runners (men and women - US and Canada only) a virtual option to complete a half marathon on their own terms, within their own local guidelines, and to be a part of the #SalomonWMN community.

Race cancellations have been a mental setback for all of us. Health and wellness, both mental and physical, is something many of us can control. Salomon encourages runners to get out and run a solo half marathon that's all about you. Whether you've worked hard for race season or want a new challenge to stay motivated in tough times, this virtual race is for you.

Run your solo 13.1 miles on May 29, 30, or 31st to earn your Strava Salomon WMN Virtual Half digital badge and receive 30% off at Salomon.com, good toward any product and your chance! Completing the WMN virtual race also enters you to win one of 50 prize packs which includes a custom WMN finisher necklace, 1 Lauren’s Mega Nuts Picky Bar, and a limited edition Salomon WMN hat!

So what's the #SalomonWMN movement all about? Community! Women empowering women around the world to get outside. Nothing more, nothing less. Join us. Learn more at salomon.com/salomonwmn
