Marte Olsbu Røiseland continues her perfect week in Antholz 2020 World Championships finishing third in the Individual 15km. With 18/20 on the shooting range she finishes just 15 seconds off the victory. 

Czech girls Markéta Davidová and Eva Kristejn Puskarčíková finish both in the top10, respectively 8th and 10th.

Pursuits have been intense in Antholz. Marte Olsbu Røiseland (NOR) wins her third medal with the bronze. Two missed targets on the last shooting let the golden hopes away.

On the men side, Arnd Peiffer (GER) crossed the line in a solid 5th position. Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen (NOR) who finished 33rd in the sprint, came back in the top 10, missing only one target.

After a perfect start with a gold medal in the mixed relay, Marte Olsbu Røiseland confirmed her perfect shape by winning the women sprint.

Marte made strategical choices at the beginning of the season, skipping some races to prepare herself for the World Championships. This pays off, after five team gold medals, she wins her first ever individual World Champion title!

Marte Olsbu Røiseland started the IBU Biathlon World Championships in Antholz the best way possible, winning the gold medal and World Champion title in the mixed relay with team Norway. After last year success in Östersund, Marte is adding a new title to her palmares.

Markéta Davidová & Eva Kristejn Puskarčíková were more than happy with their bronze medal together with the Czech team. Markéta & Eva launched perfectly the relay to let the men fight for the podium.
