Biography
An athlete who needs no introduction in the world of short distance trail races, hailing from the Swiss town of Charmey, Rémi Bonnet grew up in the mountains. Early on in his career, he became known as one of the world’s best uphill runners, and holds the unofficial vertical kilometer time of 28:37, which he set in Fully, Switzerland. However, his past season, which featured a win at the 2023 Marathon du Mont Blanc as well as overall Golden Trail Series winner in 2022 and 2023, has proved that his skills are not limited to uphill. During the winter, Rémi represents Switzerland in the sport of Ski Mountaineering and is no stranger to the podium, having won individual World Championship titles in 2021 and 2023 and a European Championship title in 2024. Rémi is surely a force to be reckoned with on the trails and he's not slowing down any time soon.
