Bastien won a silver medal at the 2013 FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships but just before the 2014 Olympics, Bastien broke his back and was unable to compete in Sochi. Luckily, he made a full recovery and went on to win a silver medal at the Winter X Games in 2016.
