Don’t buy.
I purchased the lily pad colour of the outlined Gore-Tex jacket. I had this jacket for a month, loved the colour and the jacket. But I wore the jacket in torrential rain, obviously thinking the jacket would be fine in these conditions. After the jacket had dried I noticed the jacket had water marks. I’ve washed the jacket in Nikwax hoping this would get them out, but it hasn’t. I’ve contacted Salomon, but apparently this is not a covered in the manufacturing warranty. Maybe I had bought the black jacket this wouldn’t be a problem as it wouldn’t be noticeable. Disappointing, regret buying this jacket. Especially for the price.

Not waterproof
I bought this jacket about 4 weeks ago, I wore it for the first time today (too late to return) for a trip around the lakes, it started raining and within 10 mins water was coming through the shoulders and sleeves, hardly any beading that I was expecting from a brand new Gore-tex jacket! The jacket was fully saturated within half an hour, making it unwearable. For the price I am extremely disappointed honestly I have worn better waterproof jackets that cost me a lot less. I’m going to attempt at putting it through the wash with some Nikwax but I really shouldn’t have to this to a brand new Jacket!
It’s a smart jacket but really disappointed with the performance.
