Salomon X Hopper
Restoring the joy of sport
The Adaptive Project is about making sport accessible to everyone, breaking down technical and psychological barriers. Supported by the Salomon Foundation and co-developed with Hopper, it helps people reconnect with movement, confidence and the joy of sport, embracing what makes them different, and taking pride in it.
“The Adaptive Project is the pride of helping restore hope and independence to people with disabilities every day.”

Innovation built through collaboration
The project began with Jérôme Bernard, triple amputee and Salomon ambassador, who brought together engineering students, future Hopper founders and Salomon teams around a shared challenge: developing a dedicated trail running blade. By combining lived experience, engineering expertise and product innovation, this collective effort became the foundation for new adaptive solutions and the creation of Salomon’s first Para Team.
“It’s up to you to do it because you are the one who can provide a solution. ”
