Olympic medalist Victor Muffat-Jeandet tested the new Salomon S/Race ski boot throughout the development process. On a visit to Salomon’s Alpine Race room at the Annecy Design Center in the off-season, he spent a few minutes explaining the reason behind the creation of the new S/Race ski boots and the performance he wants from his ski boots.

The new Coreframe construction uses a thinner walled Sensitive Shell, reinforced with a Carbon Coreframe, to deliver both improved terrain feedback and power transmission to the edges.
The shell and cuff are made off a high-quality TPU that provides more rebound to the boot when used with a high level of constraints, such as in a World Cup race. The World Cup liner can be custom fit and the cantable and screwed oversized pivot lets you dial your stance in precisely.
