After 6 races through 3 different countries in 8 days, the last stage of Tour De Ski was again this year the climb of the alpine slope of Alpe Cermis.

Starting in 6th position in the stadium at Lago Di Tesero, Sjur Røthe set a high pace in the first part of the race to come back on his closest competitors before the last climb.

When it comes to uphills, lightness is an important topic. Sjur started with the lightest package Salomon has ever done which weights 2040 g in total.

  • S/Lab Carbon Skate Ski : 990 g / pair
  • S/Lab Carbon Skate Boot : 860 g / pair
  • Prolink Race Binding : 230 g / pair

Sjur reached the top of Alpe Cermis in 4th position in 30min 32sec which was the fastest time of the day.

It is the third FIS World Cup victory for him this season, and he's now ranked 3rd at the Overal FIS World Cup Standing.
